A studio date with my son

This Wednesday afternoon my son asked me to paint with him in the studio. He has a painting easel set up next to mine in my studio. So down we went into the painting studio, we adorned our smocks, put some tunes on and began the painting adventure. For about 30 minutes we painted and chatted away. Dipping our brushes in the water and discussing what colour we are each using next. After all was said and done we hung our completed works and went back upstairs to make cookies. These kinds of days are the best days in the studio, especially when followed by cookies. Here is a picture of our easels and completed works. The cookies were good too!
